Love loves to be organized. Without organization love loves with abandon – just as God loves with abandon!

Yes, that sounds like another paradox, does it not? Love loves to be organized otherwise love loves with abandon.

Well, think for a moment. To be organized means to have order, to be specific, to narrow down the scope of things. Indeed, love loves that – otherwise you would find yourself loving your mate as much as you love your enemy. And, oh dear, what a mess that would be. Can you imagine loving your foe as much as you love your mate? Horrors!

And so it would appear that perhaps there may be different types of love – as in love of God vs. love of self. Remember, please, I asked you about that in the very beginning of our conversations. Could it be that love of God is spiritual, while love of self is physical? If so, because you are both a spiritual and physical being, that could mean that there are multiple aspects of love – horrors, again!

Allow me to help you here. Your spiritual love of God is singular, and your physical love of self is multi-faceted. There is one God – one Spirit – (who does not change), but there are many physical beings who do change. Therefore, the love you have for those physical beings may change as you, a physical being, change. Note I say MAY change – may as in free will.

Yes, love loves to be organized as far as spiritual love is concerned. Plus, love loves to be disorganized as far as physical love is concerned so that it may love with abandon the many changing physical beings who surround the self.

Do you understand the subtlety of what I am saying? Are you aware of the need of free will when loving others who change?

Please, organize your love for God on the one hand, and allow love to flow free with abandon when loving others. That, you see, is loving love.

Emil
